More Depth

Describe yourself (personality/attitude/passions/beliefs):

Hello
I am a spiritual writer and artist, and have a strong ethic around Beauty and its importance in keeping us balanced. I don't mean Beauty in the superficial sense of perfect skin, big muscles, etc, but that deeper quality, where things of true beauty have a sharpness of clarity, and powerful effortless presence. The presence where they simply radiate! I am deeply attracted to nature, especially places with big rocks and clear water. And I love bright clear colours.

I am generally a happy and joy-filled type of person, very deeply committed to my Spiritual Journey and Path. I believe in living without censorship, and give myself (and others therefore) permission to simply shine, without apology!

I am completely vegan, as "harmlessness" or nonviolence is very important to me!
I also really enjoy making good food, for myself, but especially for others. And I love when non-vegans are shocked at how good it looks, smells, and tastes! :D

I Love the harmony good order creates.
I have been clairvoyant, clairsentient, and clairaudient all my life, and I sometimes work with Landscape Angels/Devas, doing energetic work to assist the Earth.

I believe it's important to be the best human you can be - offering all of who you are.
My values really define who I am and how I live. So, the Heart and its Wisdom are the measures I use to make decisions.

Describe the type of person you'd like to meet:

I am looking for a guy who I can walk the path with. Someone who is conscious of being on a spiritual journey, and has a strong sense of self-honesty and authenticity. An ability to communicate from the Heart with Clarity is very important to me! And a willingness to discuss and share what is going on for them.
I would also appreciate a guy who has a commitment to selfless service, and is therefore more interested in what he can give than what he can get.

Describe the ideal relationship:

In my ideal relationship there is equality, honesty, respect, passion, creativity... and a commitment for the relationship to be dedicated to what it can create in the world!
There is time spent in nature and sharing of our creative pursuits. We love each others company and also appreciate time alone. Together we are like a Sun, creating Light, Humour and Beauty wherever we go!! We inspire others to live aligned to their Hearts and Love.

What should a great date consist of?

It should be with you... the most beautiful guy I know... lol

There would be great vegan food, empowering, inspiring, open, and authentic conversation, good deep connection and perhaps a bit of a laugh. I imagine there would be a sense of ease and excitement between us.
And the cherry on the cake would be a great mug of chai. lol

Describe your work/business and what it means to you:

I run a small spiritual school, based in The Ageless Wisdom Tradition or esoteric science. In this role I run workshops, offer classes, and facilitate regular guided meditations. I get great joy in catering for these events as well.

I have been asked for years to share my meditative insights, so I now offer my spiritually focused writing with the world. I began publishing at the beginning of 2020. Look up my site Authentic Blaze * org :-)

I co-run a tea business selling Turmeric Green Tea Chai, and Turmeric Nettle Tea Chai, and now Superfood Drinking Chocolate and Superfood Drinking Carob. The business is called GrunTea Emporium - look us up if you want to know more.

I am also a Spiritual Artist, collaborating with a friend. I design mandalas and my friend makes them into T-Shirts. Search for Vivid Soul Design Co.

Spirituality and creative expression are essential to my being.

What do you like to do for fun/activities?

Well I love writing, art, and bushwalking. Meditation and reading are both deeply enjoyable, as well as the obvious gorgeous 'side effects' they offer!

I have always enjoyed dancing (when the music is good), but there are not many opportunities where I currently live in Herberton. Though I am moving to Koah in a few weeks, so I will be able to start attending events in Cairns again. Yay!

I love connecting with people, both new and old. I adore and am nourished by deep conversations - especially those exploring abstract concepts and principles.
I am definitely partial to a good movie... particularly sci-fi or fantasy.

And of course, I can be found in my garden quite often... there is something satisfying and real about growing your own food and more flowers to bring colour into the world!

What does being *conscious* mean to you?

Being conscious is like oxygen! It pains my heart that so many folks seem to be sleep walking, and think they are alive! I have been 'aware' since my early years and believe that those of us who see a bigger picture have a greater responsibility to care for those who appear not to. We must not judge! But I do believe we have an 'obligation' to help awaken the world - especially by our own embodied example of Heart-Based Living.

How long and what motivated you to be on a conscious path?

I have been on a conscious path since my early teens...
I would have to say there were 3 main reasons that I came to this life direction.
1. I guess my somewhat dominating father and the environment he created at home propelled me to find another way. To Live and to Be.
2. Being Gay... I started asking questions very early on of myself and my world, trying to figure why and how I was different!
3. The things I began to 'see, sense, and hear' internally, meant that I had to find out what was going on for me!!

But aside from all those things, probably one would have to say it was/is simply a Soul Level Choice!

What types of healing modalities do you practice or would you like to learn?

I am interested particularly in affirming wellness.
I believe in the expression 'Healer, Heal Thyself', and so believe that we all have to lead by example.

That said, I am a practicising Divine Alchemist - wielding Light in service to all life.
I work in the transmutation of Darkness to Light, both within and without.
This encompasses healing the personal body, emotions, mind, and also the collective environments of people and place.

How are you environmentally conscious & what are you doing to help the planet?

Wow another Huge question!
I am (have been since about 1997) designing a type of environmentally responsible, self-sufficient, spiritually-aligned, intentional community. I am hoping it will become a blueprint for a new type of 'suburb'... a new way for modern humans to live... taking the best of the modern world and blending it with the best of the older traditional ways... to create something new! A type of village I guess! It is based on the idea of Eco Co-Housing, using what some folks call an 'exploded house,' where the bedrooms (or personal space) are separated from the main building containing the rest of the household rroms and facilities. It is an exciting model for adults to live together, reduce our earth footprint, and still have the space we need.

Other than that, I am qualified in Permaculture, Horticulture, and Bush Regeneration, I am an active recylcer, I shop at our co-op to reduce the packaging I buy, as well as eating lots of organic produce. I am a wholefoods vegan by choice since 1993, so as to not add any energy to the horrors the meat, dairy, and egg industries have created in our world. And I support with petitions, writing letters, and financially a number of environmental organisations.

What are you most passionate about?

Mastering myself, so I am always choosing my responses, rather than reacting!
Working Consciously with Devas.
Living without censorship... in Authenticity!!!
Service to Others.

There is simply so much worth living for, and so you might as well do it all with full presence!

However, I am working on wise control of my lower nature and 'passions,' so they don't dominate and control me. I believe that the Heart speaks with a 'Silent' Voice... and one must cool their passions in order to hear it.

What is the top priority in your life right now?

Right Now?? Hmmm isn't it always Right Now!!?? Hehe

I am writing articles for my spiritual website. The description is: "fiery contemplations on the path of awakening". It is called: Authentic Blaze * org. The articles are all based on seeking greatest alignment with the Heart and living an esoteric life.

I am always working to better respond to the needs of my spiritual 'students.'

I am just starting to write a book about my knowledge and direct experiences of Divine Alchemy. I have been asked by people for some time to do this. I feel now is the right time.

And also I am about to pour much more energy into our Intentional Spiritual Community Proposal.

And I just recently started working on weight training in day to day life :-)

Where do you see yourself 5 years from today?

Continuing my Journey. Living, Loving, and Sharing... with you!

And hopefully by this time, living on the land in our eco spiritual retreat centre. A place of natural beauty, sustainability, and deep sacred space.
