People tell me I'm smart and funny. Sometimes I feel anything but. I'm a deep thinker and writer, a game designer and a c/w dancer. I moved to the Pacific NW 8 years ago but not sure if it's my final destination. In the meantime, I like to browse bookstores for their intellectual fare, swing dance to a rockabilly band, travel back to Colorado to see old friends and family, and meet up for lunch, hiking or just "being" together. I also dream of spending a month in Italy for the grand adventure of it.

I vacillate between the need for independence and the touchstone of a relationship, the fallout of growing up with eight sibs. In a perfect world, I'd have both. I don't have kids - raised them when I was a kid - and so my treat is time in my creative studio.

What am I looking for? The love of my life - ha! (Aren't we all?). Until then, I'd like to meet someone who shares my values, loves deep conversation, and enjoys a dry sense of humor. After that, who knows?

You keep yourself pretty fit, have a big heart, are kind and compassionate, and have a natural inquisitiveness about life. You're smart and self-aware, cute and funny, and you aren't afraid to talk about the deep stuff, the heart stuff.

And yet, for all that, you're still a gentleman and when I see you, my toes curl and my heart sings and I know I've come home.

Hiking, yoga, mini-meditations, ritual, reading, dancing, dinners out, coffee house conversations, girlfriend gabfests, long phone conversations, movies that touch my heart and make me cry, my sibs, the NY Times, and so much more.
